Restorative Dentistry


Restorative dental treatment is the protection of dental structures in the direction of preventive and minimally invasive treatment principles with the early diagnosis of the primary objective dental caries using updated information and technologies. The aim of this department is to return the deformed shapes, functions and aesthetic properties of tooth structures due to developmental and acquired diseases to the tooth with various restorations made. New concepts such as "adhesives", "aesthetics", "cosmetic" dentistry, which have gained popularity especially in recent years, are the application areas of this department.

The treatments performed in our clinic for these purposes;

  • Restoration of the anterior and posterior teeth with amalgam and composite fillings,

  • Dentin sensitivity treatment,

  • Esthetic applications such as laminate veneers and whitening,

  • Indirect and direct inlay, onlay restorations.

Our department is continuing education and clinical activities with 1 Associate Professor. Department of Restorative Dentistry is continuing to practice and theoretically in the third year to start the second class with practical and theoretical courses. Clinical internship programs are applied to 4th and 5th year students. In the following periods, it is planned that the graduate programs will be opened and specialist students will be trained in the specialization training in Dentistry.
